Computer randomly crashes, freezes, and BSOD for unknown reasons

You have post on the Windows 11 forum but say that you are getting BSOD, to help with those we will need any crash dmps and to move your thread to the more appropriate Windows 11 BSOD forum, please read and provide the requested below;

Software such as Windows can crash and when it does crash you get a BSOD and when enabled a crash dmp is generated, programs or games when they crash can on occasion close to the desktop but the computer will still be 100% functional.

Hardware failure such as a weak power supply and/or overheating are not software related and when a computer for example suddenly turns off, freezes or the screen goes black etc the behaviour should be described as the "computer shut down unexpectedly" or froze etc and not as having crashed as the latter implies a software issue as opposed to an obvious hardware issue when described properly.

Having the correct info means that helpers will not be looking for a software issue when the problem is clearly hardware related.

Can you post the brand and model name or number of the PSU for us.

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

I have attached the dmp zipped files. I am not sure of the brand of the PSU, but it is a ZOTAC Magnus One computer with a 500W 80+ Platinum power supply. Most of the errors are the computer freezing. the screen freezes and mouse doesn't move. No keyboard or CTRL-ALT-DEL response. Then the monitor goes to standby because its not getting a signal from the computer but the computer is still running. I have tried updating drivers and have uninstalled/reinstalled the RTX 3060 drivers a few times. Whenever I play games it freezes, and sometimes when doing other things and just randomly sometimes too.

Please do not bump your thread, it will not get you a reply any quicker and will in fact do the opposite when helpers do not reply at all :(

The delay was due to me trying to get some solid info on the PSU that is in your PC such info is non existent but what I have found is that the present PSU is too weak for the GPU that is in the computer, Zotac make three versions of the RTX 3060 and they all have one thing in common, they require a good quality brand of PSU that has a minimum output of 600W, you can confirm this for yourself, FSP are also not the best of brands.

I suspect that you have two problems with one of them possibly being inadvertently caused by yourself, all the crash dmps flag Nvidea GPU drivers and you may have caused them by trying to fix a weak PSU problem.

Test for you to do;

Make sure that the Windows Power Plan is set to Balanced and not High or Ultra Performance both of which cause stability issues.

Remove the add on GPU from the computer altogether and hook the screen up to the appropriate video port on the MB, reassemble and test by using the computer as you normally would to see if you get any BSOD,

Sorry for posting the last reply twice. I didn't click reply to your last post and just typed it at the bottom of the screen. I wasn't sure if I had to click reply or not so I posted it again.

I will try this that you mentioned and will also contact ZOTAC about the weak PSU you mentioned to see if they have a solution that may be covered by a warranty. I will be back in a few hours. Thanks
