You sir, have just nailed it. Problem solved it seems. Thank you so much. Now the drive is detected, online and ready to use after I changed to AHCI just like you suggested. Awesome, good job man! I think you deserve another donation, coming up in a moment.

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Hi, I was asleep at the time of your last reply yesterday, was late in my timezone. But alright, I'm back. I will upload two photos I took of the screens in the BIOS regarding the RST info, I am sure you can judge it and make better sense of it than me. When I clicked the name of the missing...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Okay, Interesting. In the BIOS the Kingston 1TB SSD is clearly detected. Under "Onboard SATA Mode" it says: "Intel RST" There is also a line I can click, which is called "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" If I click that line, then one new line appears, which basically is the name of...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Right, I was just talking nonsense, because I rarely open a PC case, so had no image in my mind about how the ssd was connected. Yea I am sure you are right, they are connected in those other slots/things (clearly I am a layman...) Ok I opened the case and I guess the missing drive is this...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Ok thanks, will see what I can delete for more space. I do not have another drive available at the moment, hmmm, must look into ways I could perhaps borrow from a friend or family... not sure it will be an option though. The computer came with these 2 drive installed when I bought it, I did...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Unfortunately I don't remember any info details about the ssd. I just know it is 1 TB ssd. Maybe I should open the PC case and look at the hardware to find some of that info? I don't know?

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

And oh also, before I forget: I have one other weird issue that I have no clue about how to solve. It is simply my secondary SSD internal hard disk, which does not show up anywhere at all. It does not show up in disk manager, device manager, or File Explorer... it does not give me a triggered...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

hey, thanks for all the help so far. I donated a little earlier "Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19045.4291] (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. C:\Windows\system32>pnputil /enum-devices /connected > c:\Users\hanse\Desktop\pnputil.txt C:\Windows\system32>" This is what i typed...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Hi again, After testing now I can unfortunately conclude that the issue is still there. For some reason it was as if it was gone for an hour or so (after the updates and restart), but now it happens pretty much as often as before.

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Hey great news: after the restart during the update of the BIOS (along with the other updates) I have not stumbled upon one single mouse disconnect issue. It seems very promising, maybe my issue is totally fixed now. But I will want to test it a bit further, just to be certain. I will report...

Solved Mouse device disconnecting and reconnecting periodically

Oh and also another little comment regarding testing mice: If I was to try other newer mice on my problem PC, it would take a few days at least for them to arrive (I would have to purchase them, since I don't have any other newer mice in the house). But if I am to run that experiment, would you...
