We need information about the PC, as any other way we can only speculate.s

What exactly happened, did the pc just shutoff with a bluescreen- what was the error message?

Does your pc have a wireless card? Have you tried connecting over Wi-Fi?

I didnt pay attention to the blue screen message
I only have an ethernet port, no external wifi cards
All i know is that i was transfering a big file (~50-60gb) when my pc suddenly blue screened. It restarted and everything seemed fine until I saw the no internet icon bottom left

I tried running the troubleshooter, changed ports and changed ethernet cables

Relocated to the proper section.

Follow the posting instructions for the BSOD form here.

Sorry but as above, you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the motherboard and what operating system you are running.

Motherboard is MSI b450M pro-vdh max
Im running windows 10 pro 22H2
Ive tried reinstalling drivers for the network adapter but my guess is that the bsod broke my ethernet port because there is no light when I plug the ethernet cable

Make sure that the Ethernet port is enabled in the BIOS, if it is, look in the Device Manager to see if there are any yellow ! or red X marks against the Ethernet port.
